A friend shared this recipe with me over thirty years ago.They make lovely gifts for any occasion. Make plenty of them because they want last long.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz
    extra crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 box
    confectioners' sugar
  • 1 stick
    butter, melted
  • 1 pkg
    candy making dark or milk chocolate wafers

How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream together melted butter,confectioner's sugar and peanut butter; roll into balls.
  2. In a double boiler melt chocolate wafers (about 20 min.) Dip balls in chocolate and place on waxed paper. They will set quickly if placed in refrigerator for about an hour or place in cool spot. Once their cooled, you can pack in containers for gift giving.
