I make alot of truffles over the holidays, but these are so good and easy, nice to have them on hand..hope my doctor isn't watching, she took my M&M's away :) enjoy FORGET LOVE, I'D RATHER FALL IN CHOCOLATE. :)

Ingredients For chocolate kahlua truffles

  • 12 oz
    chocolate chips
  • 4
    egg yolks
  • 1/3 c
  • 2/3 c
    butter, unsalted
  • ground almonds & cocoa powder, for rolling in

How To Make chocolate kahlua truffles

  • 1
    Melt chocolate over simmering water. When melted, remove from heat and cool to room temp. Add egg yolks, one at a time, stirring constantly until well blended. Mix in Kahlua and return to double boiler for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Pour mixture into the bowl of your mixer and beat in butter, one tablespoon at a time. Continue beating until mixture is light and airy. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 4 to 5 hours or overnight.

    Make into 3/4 inch balls. Roll in cocoa and or nuts. keep in frig. these also freeze well. hope you enjoy. xoxoxo. just don't tell the doctor :)
