    2/3 cup cacao butter, shaved and melted
  • ·
    1/2 cup cacao powder
  • ·
    2 tablespoons raw agave or raw honey
  • ·
    1 tablespoon mesquite powder (optional)
  • ·
    2 cups raisins
  • ·
    1 dash salt
  • ·
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make Chocolate Covered Raisins


  1. Melt the cacao butter in your dehydrator, or a double boiler, or over a bowl of hot water. Mix in the other ingredients by hand. Pour in raisins, 1/2 cup at a time. Use a slotted spoon to transfer raisinsto a wax paper-coated cookie sheet. Freeze for 10 minutes.
