~ cherry - nut fudge ~
This is another old recipe of my Grandma's. I've tweaked the original somewhat to my own liking. My daughter requested to take to work today. She loves sharing all of my goodies with her co workers. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups mini marshmallows or i have used a 7 ounce marshmallow cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/3 cup chopped maraschino cherries - drained well
How To Make ~ cherry - nut fudge ~

Step 1In a medium saucepan, mix milk, sugar, butter and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. One boiling time 4 1/2 minutes. Stirring the whole time. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate, marshmallow, nuts, vanilla and cherries. Continue stirring until marshmallows and chocolate is melted.

Step 2Spread into a buttered 9 inch dish. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into desired sized pieces.
