cherry mash candy
I remember these from a kid. They were sure good and now you can have those same old cherry mashs with this recipe.Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients
- 5 ounces maraschino cherries, drained and cut
- 4 tablespoons margarine, don't melt
- 2 tablespoons cherry juice, reserved from cherries
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 box dry cherry frosting
- 6 ounces chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanuts, salted and without skins, crushed
How To Make cherry mash candy

Step 1Combine margarine, cherry juice, cherries and vanilla. Beat on medium speed until creamy and well mixed. Add powdered sugar and dry frosting gradually, mixture will become very stiff. Add another tablespoon cherry juice, if needed. Roll in small balls and place on cookie sheet, Covered with wax paper. Chill.

Step 2Melt chocolate chips, add peanuts. Dip candy into mixture. Drain on wax paper.
