This is a wonderful fudge Carol gave me she said I could share as many of her recipes I want

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 cup butter, divided
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 32 large marshmallows
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 2 cups (12 ozs each) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate chips
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped nuts
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

How To Make carol's nutty fudge

  • Step 1
    Butter a 13x9 inch pan with 1 tablespoon butter, set a side.
  • Step 2
    In a large heavy saucepan combine the sugar, milk and remaining butter.
  • Step 3
    Bring to a full boil over medium heat, boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Step 4
    Remove from the heat. Stir in marshmallows until melted.
  • Step 5
    Add chocolate chips and unsweetened chocolate, stir until chips are melted. Add nuts and vanilla.
  • Step 6
    Spread into prepared pan. Cool for 1 hour at room temperature. Cut into squares. Store in air tight container in the refrigerator.
