THIS IS A VERY SIMPLE FUDGE RECIPE. I LIKE TO MAKE IT WITH MILK CHOCOLATE CHIPS. THE CARAMEL MAKES IT A LITTLE DIFFERENT.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or milk chocolate chips -[18 oz.]
  • 1 can sweeten condensed milk -[14oz.]--[not evaporated]
  • dash salt
  • 1 cup walnut pieces, chopped
  • 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

How To Make carols chocolate caramel walnut fudge

  • Step 1
    FOIL LINE AN 8 OR 9 INCH SQUARE PAN.
  • Step 2
    IN A SAUCEPAN, OVER LOW HEAT, MELT THE CHOCOLTE CHIPS WITH THE SWEETENED MILK AND DASH OF SALT.
  • Step 3
    REMOVE FROM HEAT; STIR IN THE WALNUTS, CARAMEL TOPPING AND VANILLA.
  • Step 4
    SPREAD EVENLY INTO THE SQUARE PAN.
  • Step 5
    CHILL 2 HOURS OR UNTIL FIRM.
  • Step 6
    TURN FUDGE ONTO A CUTTING BOATF; PEEL OFF FOIL AND CUT INTO SQUARES.
