Ingredients For carmels

  • 2 c
  • 1 c
    dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 lb
  • 1 pt
    whipping cream (2 cups)

How To Make carmels

  • 1
    Mix sugar, corn syrup, butter & ½ of the whipping cream into sauce pan. Cook over medium heat to soft ball stage (237) stirring constantly. Add remaining whipping cream and cook again to soft ball stage (237) stirring constantly. Pour into buttered 9” x 9” pan. Let sit for at least 24 hours. Dump out of pan and cut into pieces with sharp knife, Wrap in Wax paper.
