1 lb
butter, softened
1 pt
corn syrup, light
2 lb
brown sugar, light
1 can(s)
sweetened condensed milk

How to Make Caramels

Step-by-Step

  • 1melt butter on med heat

    mix rest of ingredients all together with butter

    let it come to boil

    keep stirring to prevent sticking to bottom of pan

    heat to 245-248 with candy therm

    butter a 9x13 pan

    pour in pan

    cool 3-4 hours

    cut into pieces

    wrap pieces in wax paper
