This is a recipe from a foodie named Pleclare. These candies are too die for! I couldn't stop eating these! This really cures your caramel cravings! I added my photo!

  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1 large
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 1 c
    old fashioned oats
  • 1-14 oz
    package caramels
  • 1/3 c
    half n' half cream
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    salted cashew halves-chopped

How to Make Caramel Cashew Chewies


  1. In a large mixing bowl,cream butter and brown sugar. Beat in egg. Stir in flour and oats.
  2. Press into a 9x13 baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 for 15-18 mins or till golden brown.
  3. Meanwhiel,in a small saucepan,combine caramels and cream.
  4. Cook over low heat for 4-5 mins or till caramels are melted.,stirring occasionally. Pour over crust. Sprinkle with chocolate chunks and cashews.
  5. Bake for 8-10 mins or till chocolate is melted. Cool on wire rack before cutting.
