cake mix truffles
Quick, easy, sweet tooth satisfying!!!! Change up the cake mix and extract flavors to suit your tastes and cravings!!! Found the original recipe on the web somewhere, but can't remember where & I've searched. I've increased the output of the recipe and decreased the number of ingredients, the original called for some kind of sweetener and less cake mix... the ratio I got to work really well is simply 1 to 1 to 1.

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- - chocolate or vanilla almond bark
How To Make cake mix truffles
-
Step 1Mix sweetened condensed milk, cake mix and extract in mixer. Dough will be a bit stiff. Scoop with smallest scooper, mine is less than a tablespoon, onto a parchment lined pan. Put pan in fridge to cool dough while prepping bark. Melt almond bark according to package directions. As soon as the chocolate is melted get candies out and start dipping. YUM!!!!
-
Step 2Keep finished truffles refrigerated. That is if they last more than the day they're made. :)
-
Step 3***** ALMOST FORGOT ***** One of the mixes I made up, it had gotten late, so I put it in the fridge overnight. The next day I RUINED my scoop in it. It stiffened up so much that it bent the little metal arm that pushes the dough out of the scooper. :/ If you have to refrigerate it, plan on rolling it out with a rolling pin the next day or cutting it with a knife or just pinching it off.
