- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup hot coffee
- 1/2 cup pecans

Step 1Carmelize milk: Pour sweetened condensed milk into top of double-boiler pan; cover.

Step 2Place over boiling water.

Step 3Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 60 to 75 minutes, or until thick and light caramel-colored.

Step 4Remove from heat and beat until smooth.

Step 5Blend caramelized sweetened condensed milk and hot coffee, beating until smooth.

Step 6Chop pecans and add.

Step 7Pour into sherbet glasses.

Step 8Chill.

Step 9May be garnished with whipped cream.
