How to Make Cafe Nut Caramel


  • 1Carmelize milk: Pour sweetened condensed milk into top of double-boiler pan; cover.
  • 2Place over boiling water.
  • 3Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 60 to 75 minutes, or until thick and light caramel-colored.
  • 4Remove from heat and beat until smooth.
  • 5Blend caramelized sweetened condensed milk and hot coffee, beating until smooth.
  • 6Chop pecans and add.
  • 7Pour into sherbet glasses.
  • 8Chill.
  • 9May be garnished with whipped cream.
