    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 c
    hot coffee
  • 1/2 c

How to Make Cafe Nut Caramel


  1. Carmelize milk: Pour sweetened condensed milk into top of double-boiler pan; cover.
  2. Place over boiling water.
  3. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 60 to 75 minutes, or until thick and light caramel-colored.
  4. Remove from heat and beat until smooth.
  5. Blend caramelized sweetened condensed milk and hot coffee, beating until smooth.
  6. Chop pecans and add.
  7. Pour into sherbet glasses.
  8. Chill.
  9. May be garnished with whipped cream.
