My sister shared this recipe with me & it's been a favorite Christmas recipe since. I believe she found it from Taste of Home Magazine.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugat
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 cup pecan pieces * toasted*

How To Make butter pecan fudge

  • Step 1
    In heavy saucepan, combine the butter, sugars, cream & salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, let boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 2
    Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, then add confectioners sugar & stir til smooth. Fold in pecans
  • Step 3
    Spread into a buttered 8" square dish. Cool to room temperature. Cut into 1" squares. Store in refrigerator.
