4 Tbspmargarine, softened
1/3 clight syrup
1 tsppeppermint extract
4 3/4 c(1 lb) powdered sugar
2drops green food coloring
2drops red food coloring
How to Make Butter Mints
- In large mixing bowl, combine first 4 ingredients.
- Slowly add sugar, mixing by hand.
- Divide in half and add food coloring.
- Form small balls and drop them on to parchment paper. Using the back side of a spoon, press down gently to give them the "after dinner mint" shape.
