Ingredients
- 4 cups oatmeal
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 cup light karo syrup
- 2/3 cup margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ICING
- 6 ounce packages semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 6 ounce packages butterscotch morsels
- 3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional)

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.

Step 2In a large bowl, combine the oatmeal, brown sugar, corn syrup, margarine, peanut butter and vanilla. Stir until moist. Spread in pan (batter will be thick). Bake for 12 minutes; cool slightly.

Step 3Combine chocolate and butterscotch chips, peanut butter and vanilla in small saucepan. Stir until melted. Spread on warm bars.
