This is very easy and yummy candy. Very much like the apple and apricot candy that you buy at Christmas.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon plain gelatin
- 1/2 cup cold applesauce
- 3/4 cup applesauce
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make apple candy

Step 1Mix the gelatin with the 1/2 Cup Cold Applesauce.

Step 2In a saucepan, combine the 3/4 Cup Applesauce with the 2 Cups of Sugar and boil for 10 minutes.

Step 3Add the gelatin mixture and simmer 15 minutes longer, stirring constantly.

Step 4Remove from heat, add the nuts and vanilla.

Step 5Pour into a buttered 9-inch square pan. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Cut into 1-inch squares and roll in powdered sugar to coat.
