2 craw peanuts
2 tspbaking soda
How to Make Ann's Peanut Brittle
- Using an iron skillet, melt the Karo syrup and sugar over medium heat.
- Add 2 cups raw peanuts, let roast as you stir.
- When mixture becomes amber in color (will be quite foamy), add 2 tsp baking soda and 1 tablespoon butter and stir vigorously until desired color. Pour onto greased foil and let cool then break into pieces.
