This came from a dear friend of mine when I worked as a docent at the Greater Baton Rouge Zoo.

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter
1 tablespoon water
4 - eggs
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 box powdered sugar

How To Make zebra cake

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 13x9" glass baking dish.

Step 2

Mix cake mix, butter, water and 1 egg. Batter will be stiff. Pat into prepared baking dish.
Step 3

Mix cream cheese with remaining eggs, adding one at a time. Beat well after each egg. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Pour over the batter and bake until top is lightly browned. Cool and cut into small squares.
