Ingredients
- BATTER:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
- 1 cup water
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- FUDGE FROSTING:
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 pound box powdered sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans

Step 1Preheat oven to 350^. Prepare 2 cupcake pans (12 cups each pan) Line each cup with paper liners. Set aside. --- For the Batter: Mix together the sugar and margarine in a large mixer bowl, beating until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.

Step 2Combine the water, buttermilk and vanilla in a 2 cup measuring cup. Combine the cocoa, flour and baking soda together. Add flour mixture alternately with the buttermilk mixture, ending with the flour mixture. Mix well.

Step 3Fill cupcake liners equally with the batter and bake for 12-15 minutes. Cool in pans for about 10 minutes then remove to wire rack to frost.

Step 4Fudge Frosting: During the last 5 minutes of baking time for the cupcakes. Combine ingredients in a saucepan and heat until boiling and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Using a soup spoon, spoon the hot fudgy frosting equally over each cupcake. Very Fudgy and you will forget your blues as you eat away the pain and sorrow....BE HAPPY DON'T WORRY!
