- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup soft shortening
- 2 - eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 teaspoon salt
How To Make yellow cake recipe

Step 1Preheat oven to 375F Degrees. Lightly grease and flour two 9" pans. Put all ingredients into large mixer bowl and beat for 2 minutes. Increase speed and beat until smooth and fluffy-About 4 minutes. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake 25-30 minutes. Cool and remove from pans.
