This recipe was given to me by a family friend who was a wonderful cook.I've made this cake often and it's very tasty.

Ingredients

  • ·
    1 box lemon cake mix
  • ·
    small box vanilla pudding
  • ·
    4 eggs
  • ·
    3/4 c. gallo sherry
  • ·
    3/4 c. crisco oil
  • ·
    1/2 t. nutmeg
  • GLAZE:

  • ·
    1/3 c. gallo sherry
  • ·
    2 c. confectioner's sugar(powdered sugar)

How to Make Wine Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix all ingredients together 10 mins at med speed of mixer.pour into greased and floured Bundt pan.Bake 350 deg 1 hour.Cool in pan 10 mins.
    Mix glaze ingredients well.
    Pierce cake with a fork while still warm and pour glaze over cake.
