here is one that for thse who don't like fruit cake, I promise you will love this one. Everytime I have made this one I never have any left when taking it to a dinner at church.

5 c
all purpose flour
5 c
2 c
eggs well beaten
1/2 c
grape juice
3 Tbsp
lemon extract
1 tsp
1/2 tsp
cream of tarter
large tub mixed fruit
1 c
white raisins
2 c
pecans, in pieces
1/4 tsp
baking soda
1/8 tsp
pinch of salt

How to Make White Fruit Cake


  • 1Cream Butter, add sugar and cream until smoothh. Add eggs one at a time with the flour and soda,salt, by sifting it alternatley and by adding liguid and beat well. Add nuts and fruit and mix well. pour into a very large greased and floured strusal pan or reg. tube pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 2 1/2 - 3 hours.
  • 2Hint for your fruit and nuts. put them in a bag or bowl and add a little flour and litely coat all the fruit and nuts. ( called dreging your fruit).
