  position foam cone on a pedestal or serving plate covered with a white doily. Insert wooden picks into cone about 1 inch apart. Place a doughnut on each wooden pick, covering entire column. Place cranberries on additional wooden picks, and insert into spaces between doughnuts. Decorate tree with fresh mint sprigs, if desired.
