Makes enough to cover an 8 inch round cake.
Ingredients
- 6 ounces white chocolate, broken into squares
- 6 tablespoons unsalted (sweet) butter
- 1 cup (4 oz) confectioners' sugar
- 6 tablespoons heavy cream
How To Make white chocolate frosting

Step 1Melt the chocolate with the butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Remove from the heat and beat in the confectioners' sugar.

Step 2Whip the cream in a separate bowl until it just holds its shape, then beat into the chocolate mixture. Allow the mixture to cool, stirring occasionally, until it begins to hold its shape. Use immediately.

Step 3VARIATION: Stir in a tablespoon of brandy or your favorite liqueur.
