White Chocolate Butterscotch Blondies with New Jersey Salted Caramel This will satisfy your sweet tooth. Make a blondie sundae and add ice cream!

Ingredients

  • - new jersey salted caramel, see recipe
  • 6 - baking white chocolate squares
  • 3/4 stick butter, unsalted
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar

How To Make white chocolate butterscotch blondies w/ caramel

  • Step 1

    In a double broiler, melt and whisk butter and white chocolate. Set aside.
  • Step 3
    Preheat oven to 350.
  • Step 4
    In a mixing bowl, add sifted flour, sugar, vanilla, salt, and eggs. Beat for 1 minute.
  • Step 5
    Add white chocolate mixture and beat for an additional minute.
  • Step 6
    Fold in butterscotch chips.
  • Step 7
    In a greased, square baking dish pour in half your batter, spreading with a spoon to the corners.

    Then scoop 4 spoonfuls of caramel in various places.
  • Step 9
    Top with the other half of the batter, spread to sides.
  • Step 10
    Then another 2 spoonfuls of caramel.
  • Step 11
    Take a butter knife and swirl blondie batter and caramel.
  • Step 12
    Sprinkle turbinado sugar atop.
  • Step 13
    Place in oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

    Immediately after removing from oven, optionally sprinkle additional butterscotch chips atop.

    Allow to cool, slice into squares, and serve.
