Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups cane sugar
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup vegetable shortening
- 3 large eggs
How To Make white cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare 3 round layer pans or 1- 9 x 13 baking pan with grease and flour. Set aside.

Step 2Beat together with electric mixer, shortening, sugar and eggs. Alternate flour, baking powder and soda with milk. Beat it well. Add vanilla extract, beat again , then add all other ingredients and mix well.

Step 3Pour into 3 prepared round layer pans or 1 9x13 prepared baking pan. Place in a preheated 35o degree oven for 30 minutes. When done remove from oven, turn out of baking pan and allow to cool completely before frosting.
