I love the raspberry and chocolate together and with the chocolate glaze it is soooo good.

Ingredients

  • 3 - unsweetened chocolate squares
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1.5 cups chopped walnuts
  • 1/3 cup raspberry jam
  • GLAZE INGREDIENTS
  • 1 - unsweetened chocolate square
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make walnut raspberry brownie

  • Step 1
    Melt chocolate and shortening over warm water; cool slightly.
  • Step 2
    Blend together eggs, vanilla, sugar and salt; stir in chocolate mixture, then flour.
  • Step 3
    Fold in walnuts.
  • Step 4
    Turn into well greased 8-inch square pan.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 325 degrees for about 40 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Spoon jam over hot brownies; spread carefully.
  • Step 7
    Let cool and top with Velvet Chocolate Glaze.
  • Step 8
    Melt chocolate and blend in butter and light corn syrup. Stir in powdered sugar, milk and vanilla; mix well.
