Very delicious and moist. I have added raisins to this recipe also. I took this to our family reunion and it was a very big hit.

Ingredients

  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 c
    peeled,shredded tart apples
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts

How to Make Walnut Apple Bundt Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs, oil and vanilla. Add apples and sugar; beat 1 minute. Combine the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and baking powder; add to apple mixture until blended. Stir in walnuts. Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch fluted tube pan. Bake @ 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 min before removing from pan to wire rack to cool completely.
