This cake recipe was given to me by a friend of mine's mother. It is absolutely delicious. My daughter is a chocoholic and she loves this cake. I hope everyone enjoy it as much as we do. Sorry I don't have a photo at this time.

- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 4 - squares bakers melted chocolate
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- ICING
- 1 1/2 - squares bakers chocolate
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/3 cups powder sugar
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Step 1Cake: Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour tube pan or bundt pan, set aside. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes). Add in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla and melted chocolate squares. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Add the flour mixture into the creamed mixture, alternating with the milk, in three additions, scraping down the sides of bowl each time. Fold in nuts

Step 2Icing: Melt chocolate squares and butter together. Let cool. Add vanilla. Beat together egg, lemon juice and powdered sugar. Add to chocolate mixture. Stir in chopped nuts.

Step 3Ice cake when cooled. Let stand 24 hours before cutting.
