When my son, Wade, was a little boy back some 30 years ago, this was his favorite cake. I could make it in just a few minutes and he loved it. He often wanted to give these cakes to his teachers for Christmas!

Ingredients
- 1 box duncan hines yellow cake mix
- 3/4 cup wesson oil
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 8 ounces sour cream
How To Make wade's favorite pound cake

Step 1Place all ingredients in mixing bowl. Beat 3 minutes with electric mixer until smooth.

Step 2Pour into a bundt pan that has been buttered and floured.

Step 3Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 50-60 minutes.

Step 4When top is golden brown, remove from oven and let cool 10 min. in pan on a rack.

Step 5Remove cake from cake pan and let cool completely on rack. Place on cake plate and dust lightly with confectioner's sugar.
