wacky cake
I clipped this recipe many years ago when my like was quite "wacky"! It is so simple (you don't need a mixing bowl), yet so delicious! You can frost it, or not. I usually sifted powdered sugar over the top. My kids loved it! It is perfect when you need to take something to a function at the last minute. No clean up!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa, stirred before measuring to remove lumps
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 tablespoons oil or melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cidar vinegar
- 1 cup water, warm
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
How To Make wacky cake

Step 1In ungreased 8x8" pan combine well, flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. (Yes, right in the pan!)

Step 2Make three (3) holes in mixture; pour oil/melted butter into one, vanilla into another, and vinegar into third.

Step 3Add warm water and mix until well blended.

Step 4Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 35-40 minutes or till pick inserted in center comes out cleam.

Step 5Serve as is, frost, or sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.
