My Mom used to make this cake at least once a week when we were growing up. It is just as easy as a store bought cake mix. It is so easy that I still make it at least once a month.

- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
How To Make wackey cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 I like to sift all the dry ingredients together. Then add the wet ingredients and mix till well combined. Pour into a greased 8 x 8 pan.

Step 2Bake for 20-25 minutes Check with a toothpick to make sure it comes out clean. If you double the recipe bake for about 1 hour. Check at 50 min.
