This is "THE ONLY" birthday cake I seem to make because everyone loves it so much!!! and with the butter cream frosting!! ooohhh!! yummy!!

Ingredients

  • CAKE
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • BUTTER CREAM FROSTING
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons milk

How To Make very moist deep dark chocolate cake

  • Step 1
    Mix dry ingredients together in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. then stir in the boiling water.
  • Step 2
    Pour batter into 2 round cake pans or 9x13 pan. bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. or until toothpic comes out clean.
  • Step 3
    For frosting cream all ingredients together. If too thick for your liking add a pinch more milk.
