A friend brought this to work one day and it has been one my family has enjoyed for years.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 medium egg
  • 12 ounces box vanilla waffers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 7 ounces flaked coconut
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make vanilla waffer cake

  • Step 1
    Cream margarine and sugar until smooth, add one egg at a time, beating after each one.
  • Step 2
    add vanilla waffers alternately with milk. add coconut and pecans
  • Step 3
    pour into a greased floured bunt or tube pan. bake at 275 degrees for 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 hours or untill light brown and cracked on top.
