My good friend from Arkansas shared this with me years ago (we won't say how many years ago)! This is an unusual, quick and easy recipe, but delicious!

Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 6 - eggs
- 12 ounces package vanilla wafers, crushed
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup pecans, in pieces
- 7 ounces coconut, flaked
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
How To Make vanilla wafer cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan.

Step 2Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one.

Step 3Add vanila wafers and milk. Stir in coconut and pecans.

Step 4Pourinto the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool before turning out onto a cake plate. Delicious served with whipped cream and decorated with a maraschino cherry on top! Dust with a few chopped pecans.
