My mother in law used to make this delicious cake. Everything she made was delicious. She's gone now but left me with some wonderful memories and recipes.

1 12ounce boxes vanilla wafers cookies
1 8ounce packages coconut
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
2 sticks butter, room temperature
2 cups sugar
1 half cup evaporated milk
6 - eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make vanilla wafer cake

Step 1

Crush Vanilla Wafers. Mix all ingredients together and poor into prepared Angel Food cake pan.

Step 2

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes.
