- CUPCAKES
- 1 cup cake flour
- 1/2 cup almond meal
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick butter, room temperature
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- MAPLE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1/2 stick butter, room temperature
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
How To Make vanilla almond cupcakes with cream cheese maple frosting

Step 1Mix flour, almond meal, baking powder and salt. Beat in butter gradually. Beat in sugar thoroughly. Beat in eggs, vanilla and milk until just mixed.

Step 2Pour into lined cupcake pan. Bake at 400'F for 20 minutes, or until toothpick comes out almost clean.

Step 3Frosting: Mix ingredients with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Frost cooled cupcakes. Drizzle additional Maple Syrup or Maple Cream for presentation (optional)
