Ingredients

  • CUPCAKES
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 1/2 cup almond meal
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 stick butter, room temperature
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • MAPLE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 stick butter, room temperature
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

How To Make vanilla almond cupcakes with cream cheese maple frosting

  • Step 1
    Mix flour, almond meal, baking powder and salt. Beat in butter gradually. Beat in sugar thoroughly. Beat in eggs, vanilla and milk until just mixed.
  • Step 2
    Pour into lined cupcake pan. Bake at 400'F for 20 minutes, or until toothpick comes out almost clean.
  • Step 3
    Frosting: Mix ingredients with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Frost cooled cupcakes. Drizzle additional Maple Syrup or Maple Cream for presentation (optional)
