So easy! I came up with the name because the flavors of this cake remind me of a fantastic beach vacation. Coconut and pineapple come together with angel food cake mix. So delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 box angel food cake mix
  • 1 can coconut creme pie filling
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • 10 ounces crushed pineapple (w/half of the juice)
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar

How To Make vacation cake

  • Step 1
    In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix and pie filling. Stir until mixed and slightly frothy.
  • Step 2
    Pour into a greased tube pan. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Let cool to room temp then remove from pan to a cake plate.
  • Step 3
    Sauce: Beat together the cream cheese, crushed pineapple, and conf. sugar. Pour directly on to cake, or spoon on to slices, or serve in small sauce bowls when cake is served! This cake is also very good chilled.
