I can't Claim this as Mine, but I've shared with EVERYONE who's Enjoyed it! EASY, Moist, & DELICIOUS!Also called 'Earthquake Cake'...too bad I don't have a picture to explain THAT! Just Bake it and you'll understand it AND Luv it!...and Probably SHARE it, TOO!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup pecans, in pieces
  • 1 box cake mix, german chocolate(duncan hines, i use)prepare as directed
  • 1 stick butter, room temperature
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 16 ounces powdered sugar

How To Make upside-down german chocolate cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350. generously butter bottom of 13x9(I use glass to show cake), cover with coconut(as much as desired) then with pecans.
  • Step 2
    prepare cake mix as directed and pour over pecans.
  • Step 3
    Combine stick butter, cream chs., and pwdr. sgr. in saucepan till smooth, cool, & pour evenly over cake batter. bake 35min.
