Ingredients

  • 1 - cake mix, german chocolate
  • 1 box confectioners' sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut flakes

How To Make upside-down german chocolate cake

  • Step 1
    In a 9"x13" greased dish, coat the bottom of pan with pecans and top with coconut. Prepare cake mix according to box instructions. Pour into pan. In another bowl, mix confectioners' sugar, cream cheese, and butter until fluffy. By spoonfuls, drop mixture onto cake and slightly press into batter.

    Bake at 350* for about 45 minutes or until done.
