Ingredients For ugly duckling cake

  • 1 pkg
    2- layer size yellow cake mix
  • 1 can
    16 oz fruit cocktail
  • 2 2/3 c
    flaked coconut
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c
    butter or margerine
  • 1/2 c
    grabulated white sugar
  • 1/2 c
    evaporated milk

How To Make ugly duckling cake

    Combine cake mix, fruit, 1 1/3 cups of coconut and eggs. Blend and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake at 325 for 45 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched.

    Bring butter, sugar, and milk to boil and boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in remaining coconut. Spoon over warm cake. When ready to serve, top with whipped cream.

    If you use cake mix with pudding adjust recipe to 3 eggs and 1/3 cup oil.
