Many of my friends like this cake. It is a sticky cake and they like that. This recipe is for ( Time after Time ) cakes.

Not a high rising cake, but certainly worth high marks. It has a burnt sugar/caramel taste that is to die for.

method Convection Oven

Ingredients

2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
20 ounces can crushed pineapple
TOPPING
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup pecans
1 small can milk ( 8 or 6 ) ounce
1 1/2 sticks butter
3/4 cup sugar

How To Make ugli pineapple cake

Step 1

Mix first five ingredents, Pour into a 9+13 greased pan, sprinkle on top of brown sugar and pecans, Bake @ 350 for 40 minutes

Step 2

For topping
Step 3

1 small can, can milk, 1 1/2 stick butter, 3/4 cup sugar
Step 4

Boil 10 minutes cool for 5 minutes. Pour over hot cake.
