twice the delight brownie cookies
My daughter is actually the one to come up with this recipe. She originally used brownie mix and ready made cookie dough. Eventually she found they taste better made from scratch. This is the best of both worlds!!

Ingredients
- 6-3/4 cups flour
- 3-1/4 cup sugar
- 1-1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2/3 cup unsalted butter, room temp
- 1-1/2 cup butter, softened
- 7 - eggs
- 4 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon salt

Step 1Brownie dough: In bowl, combine 2-1/2 cups flour, baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt. In microwaveable bowl, melt unsalted butter and unsweetened chocolate. Spoon chocolate mix into lg bowl. add 2 cups sugar, 4 eggs and 2 tsp vanilla. Beat all ingredients. Beat in flour mix until blended. Cover, refrigerate. Cookie dough: In lg bowl, cream butter, brown sugar and 1-1/4 cups sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Beat in flour, baking soda and remaining salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Cover, refrigerate at least 1 hr.

Step 2Heat oven to 375. Lay parchment paper on several lg cookie sheets. Using a small ice cream scoop, Scoop brownie dough into 32 balls.Using another scoop, scoop cookie dough mix into 32 balls. If there's extra cookie dough mix, just bake as cookies, as usual. Take 1 ball of brownie dough and 1 ball of cookie dough and roll together until they're one ball. Place on cookie sheets.

Step 3Bake brownie cookies 8-10 mins or until just golden around edges. Cool 5 mins. Serve. Pack remaining into airtight containers for giving as gifts!
