- 16 oz
- canned fruit cocktail,drained
- beaten egg
- 1 c
- white sugar
- 1 c
- all purpose flour
- 1 tsp
- baking soda
- 1 pinch
- 1/2 c
- brown sugar
- 1/3 c
- chopped pecans or nut of choice
In a small bowl beat egg,then add fruit cocktail.
In medium sized bowl mix sugar,flour,baking soda and salt.
Add egg and fruit cocktail mixture to dry mixture. Stir well,the batter will be very thick.
Pour batter into greased 8x8 pan.
Top batter with brown sugar and nuts.
Bake for approx. 35 minutes,depending on your oven.
Top with whipped cream and ENJOY!
