16 ounces fruit cocktail
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 - egg, well beaten
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup whipped cream

How To Make tuti fruiti pudding cake, grandma w duplicate

Step 1

Drain cocktail, reserve 1/2 c liquid. Combine flour, sugar, soda and salt. Beat egg until thick and lemon colored. Add cocktail and reserved liquid. Stir in flour mixture and put into greased and floured 8" square pan. Combine pecans and brown sugar, sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees 30-40 min, toothpick test. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
