tuscan cheesecake
This is one of my adopted recipes. I haven't made it yet, but when I do, I will add comments. It sounds good , doesn't it? I may have to try adding some lavender to it to make it "Provence" cheesecake. ??????????

Ingredients
- 3 pounds ricotta cheese
- 8 - eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 2 - oranges, grated zest only
- 2 - lemons, grated zest only
- 2 2/3 ounces orange liqueur
- 1 tablespoon butter, clarified
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
How To Make tuscan cheesecake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2Beat ricotta cheese with blender until smooth.

Step 3Add eggs, sugar and milk.

Step 4Blend until well-mixed and smooth.

Step 5Add orange and lemon zest and orange liqueur. Mix well.

Step 6Grease one cheesecake pan with butter and coat lightly with bread crumbs.

Step 7Fill pan 3/4 of the way with cheesecake mixture.

Step 8Set pan in a larger pan filled half full with water and bake 1-1/4 hours.

Step 9Turn oven off, leaving the cake within.

Step 10Let stand for one hour.

Step 11Remove, let cool and refrigerate.
