Ingredients
- FOR THE SWIRL:
- 2 - 8-ounce packages cream cheese
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 - large eggs
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- FOR THE CAKE:
- 2-1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1-3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 2 - large eggs at room temperature
- 1-1/2 teaspoon red food coloring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
- FOR THE GLAZE:
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch salt
How To Make tunnel in the middle, red velvet cake

Step 1Make the Swirl:Combine the cream cheese, sugar, eggs, sour cream, heavy cream & vanilla until smooth..set aside.

Step 2Make the cake: Preheat oven to 350 .. generously coat a 10-15 cup Bundt pan with cooking spray and dust with flour, tapping out excess. Whisk the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Whisk the vegetable oil, sour cream, eggs, food coloring, vanilla, vinegar and 1/4 cup water in a medium bowl.

Step 3Combine wet & dry ingredients just until combined. Spread 1/2 batter in pan, top with cream cheese mixture, top with remaining batter.

Step 4Bake until top is cracked & tester comes out clean......about 1 hr and 10 mins. Cool 20 mins...invert on plate and cool completely ... approx. 2 hrs.

Step 5Make Glaze: Combine cream cheese, conf. sugar, sour cream, vanilla & salt until smooth, pour/spread on cooled cake.
