if you love coconut and pecans you will love this frosting i made it this weekend on hershey perfect chocolate cake it was to die for loved loved it so im sharing the recipe

1 c
evaporated milk
1 c
white sugar
4 large
egg yolks
1 stick
butter rm temp
bag coconut
1 1/2 c
toasted chopped pecans
1 tsp
vanilla extract


1combine evaporated milk sugar and yolks in a med size saucepan. whisk until yolks are fully mixed in. add butter over med heat bring to a simmer cook until mixture thickens 12to15 mins.stirring constantly
2once that is done remove from heat add coconut toasted pecans and vanilla mix well will be thick pour in glass bowl and let cool makes 4 cups frosting hope you enjoy it as much as my family does
