These cupcakes have been made for school lunches, picnics, and showers. They really are wonderful.

Ingredients

  • ·
    4 oz. chocolate chips
  • ·
    2 sticks butter
  • ·
    1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • ·
    1 1/2 cups sugar
  • ·
    4 eggs
  • ·
    2 tsp. vanilla
  • ·
    1 cup flour

How to Make Traveling Cupcakes

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large saucepan, melt butter. Add chips, stirring constantly.
  2. When the chips have melted, add the pecans and sugar.
    Mix until blended.
  3. Take off heat and add the 4 eggs, vanilla, and flour.
    Mix, do not beat.
  4. Divide into 12 paper lined cupcake holders.
  5. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. No frosting needed.
