These cupcakes have been made for school lunches, picnics, and showers. They really are wonderful.

Ingredients For traveling cupcakes

  • 4 oz. chocolate chips
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup flour

How To Make traveling cupcakes

  • 1
    In a large saucepan, melt butter. Add chips, stirring constantly.
  • 2
    When the chips have melted, add the pecans and sugar. Mix until blended.
  • 3
    Take off heat and add the 4 eggs, vanilla, and flour. Mix, do not beat.

    Divide into 12 paper lined cupcake holders.
  • 5
    Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. No frosting needed.
