Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 6 - eggs
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 box cream cheese
- 1 stick butter
- 2 sticks margarine
- 2 teaspoons lemon extract or any flavor
How To Make traditional pound cake

Step 1Beat cream cheese, butter and margarine together for 3 minutes in an extra large mixing bowl. Add flavoring.

Step 2Mix flour and sugar in another bowl. Add 1/2 cup flour mixture to butter mixture and beat thoroughly. Add 1 egg and beat thoroughly again. Continue adding alternatley 1/2 cup flour mixture and 1 egg until all have been mixed. Mixture will be stiff.

Step 3Pour mixture into a well greased and floured tube pan. Place in a cold oven and set oven temp to 325 degrees. Bake for 1 hour before opening the door to check for doneness.
